To transcend the body and dissolve identity: this is the aim of the project. The performance in constant energetic crescendo between subject and object.
Paraphrasing an old alchemic formula found in writing on the court of the esoteric King Rudolf II “If the white woman is married to her red husband, they embrace conceive, to dissolve sooner or later, once perfected”, we can hypothesise that in the exhausting and continuous ‘night’ work of ‘mapping’ the body, the unexpected happens: a darkening of the mind, a gentle fall into the ‘heavenly’ state, where Claire Baldo’s body transfuses into that of Xena Zupanic and vice versa.
All that remains outside is a luminous, light envelope, imprinted by the digital sensor of Claire Baldo’s camera.
At that moment, one is no longer subject to human separations, everything is in the utopian state, never before attainable.

La performance est un crescendo énergétique constant entre le sujet et l’objet.
En paraphrasant une ancienne formule alchimique trouvée dans les écrits de la cour du roi ésotérique Rudolf II “Si la femme blanche est mariée à son mari rouge, ils s’embrassent, pour se dissoudre tôt ou tard, une fois perfectionnés”, nous pouvons supposer que dans le travail “nocturne” épuisant et continu de “cartographie” du corps, l’inattendu se produit : un obscurcissement de l’esprit, une douce chute dans l’état “céleste”, où le corps de Claire Baldo se transfuse dans celui de Xena Zupanic et vice-versa.
Il ne reste à l’extérieur qu’une enveloppe lumineuse, empreinte du capteur numérique de l’appareil photographique.
À ce moment-là, on n’est plus soumis aux séparations humaines, tout est à l’état utopique, jamais atteint auparavant.
